Overview

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze existing portfolio and identify consolidation opportunities, and develop project scope.
  • Manages occupancy tracking system utilizing iOffice as the facility management tool of record.  Generates reports pertaining to vacancy, cost center boundaries and overall floor load.
  • Manages new hire desk placement/set-ups by working with properties team members and IT desk top support to ensure new hires have a positive first day experience.
  • Work with on-site properties personnel for all requested furniture & fixtures to ensure standardizations are being adhered to. 
  • Maintains existing FFE standards set forth by Santander Consumer and partners with Human Resources to accommodate specialized ADA requests as they pertain to chairs, desks and overhead task lighting.  Will process and order all ADA requests from Benefits.
  • Manage project process for small projects to include capturing scope, expected completion timeline and any projected base budget. This includes build out of existing space and preparation of new office space for relocation. 
  • Tracks project timelines and submit project budget reports throughout the course of the project as needed. Reconcile budget to actual spend at completion of project
  • Partner with other critical departments, i.e., Marketing, HR to establish continuity in standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ AutoCAD experience
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ Space Planning/Optimization experience
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ Project Management
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
