Summary of Responsibilities:

The Regional Brand Manager will be responsible for recommending new programs / product initiatives and related incentives for their assigned market in collaboration with OEM partners, Regional Sales Managers, sales team and business support teams. The role will provide market analysis, program and incentive analytics and historical tracking for existing programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Recommends product improvements and upgrades on a monthly basis based on market feedback and market conditions
  • Develops regional programs in conjunction with OEM business partners which result in increased penetration and incremental sales.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with OEM business partners and all internal partners.
  • Monitors the application support escalation process to ensure product and service quality to ensure client expectations and requirements are met.
  • Assesses the impact of product changes to all applicable internal and external systems and processes.
  • Compiles and maintains product plan for individual product lines; including product updates and change history, sales history, product line margins, market changes and trends, and current product line for your assigned territory
  • Participates in market and customer surveys to identify needs and potential product opportunities and summarize those surveys to recommend programs
  • Champions product success and drive resolution of respective action items
  • Develops and maintains intimate knowledge of market and competitive products
  • Provides feedback on improvements, upgrades and new models needed in family of products.
  • Communicates potential product improvements and upgrades to sales team and OEM partners
  • Uses software, analytical tools and techniques, business process knowledge and general common sense to analyze business problems and to formulate solutions
  • Documents and models existing and new business procedures and processes and identify relevant technology issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in sales and/or origination areas of auto finance industry
  • Preferred sales experience with automotive finance lender, dealer and/or OEM relationships  
  • Familiarity with credit policy rules, state and federal regulations and application processing systems is required
  • Working business knowledge of auto finance product offerings
  • Working business knowledge of credit application systems and DMS providers
  • Demonstrated capability to understand high level architectural concepts, and create product technology roadmaps
  • Ability to formulate and present clear and persuasive presentations, proposals, and project plans
  • Ability to explain statistical concepts to a business audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions:

  • Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
  • Travel to multiple sites may be required.
  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
  • May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
  • Corporate / satellite office role.

Continuously monitors the market and competitor strategies to ensure pricing is in line to provide consumers and/or clients a fair price while maintaining market share and/or deposit levels. Plans, directs and facilitates all phases of the pricing strategy changes from inception through introduction into the marketplace. Ensures products meet regulatory and industry standards.

Job Function: Product Management

Oversees all activities and functions associated with products or product lines at all stages of their lifecycles. Gathers user requirements to provide product strategy and prepares product trainings for salespeople. Interfaces with and collaborates across functions and stakeholders (e.g., marketing and sales) to ensure successful product development and implementation. Develops pricing and distribution strategies. Plans product direction and evolution.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Sr. Specialist, Product Management supports product management team through pricing, sales support, and providing inputs to marketing strategy. Researches the demands, risks, regulatory environment of the applicable markets to develop products. Supports more experienced colleagues with relevant competitive, market and/or financial analyses to gain breadth/depth of knowledge in relevant products, services and platforms. Performs technical training, demonstrations and develops user documentation to provide feedback on enhancements for assigned product(s). Follows and completes activities outlined in product development process and conducts focused research on specific topics.

Essential Functions:

  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and profitability of assigned product.
  • Works with more experienced Product Management on product pricing.
  • Supports more senior Product Managers in building client-focused, strategic business cases for firm offerings in the marketplace through relevant research and analyses on client segments, competitive landscape and industry environment.
  • Collects and analyzes market data and sales data required by Product Managers for accurate pricing.
  • Helps relationship managers, sales staff, and other product managers perform technical trainings or demonstrations for potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Education –
    • Bachelor’s Degree: in Business, Finance, or equivalent discipline.
    • or equivalent work experience
  • Experience –
    • 3-5 years Data/ research/ analytics at a financial institution.
    • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
    • Experience with Agile Scrum.
  • Skills & Abilities –
    • Solid understanding the impact of regulatory changes to the products
    • Strong background in banking products and services
    • Demonstrated understanding of product development life cycle
    • Strong analytical skills/financial acumen
    • Demonstrates the ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features
    • Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
